THE OVIVO SOLUTION
The Brackett Green® CF100® Band Screen provides a high-capacity, low-maintenance solution for fine screening. Featuring ProPaPanel® technology, this screen prevents hair pinning and ensures zero carryover, independently proven to remove 90% of two-dimensional screenings.
The single-motor design reduces running, ancillary, and electrical costs, while low-pressure jet cleaning prevents blinding and eliminates the need for brushing or manual cleaning.
For ease of installation, the screens are supplied as free-standing single units. The rigid frame construction, enclosed head section with access panels, and anti-friction bearings ensure reliable operation.
HOW IT WORKS
The Brackett Green® CF100® Band Screen features a central flow design, where water enters the center of the screen first. This pattern is the most efficient means of removing suspended solids for wastewater applications and eliminates the problem of carryover found in traditional straight-through and step-type screens.
Wastewater flows outward through a moving band of polymer mesh panels, retaining screenings on the inside of the panels. Low-pressure water jets mounted inside the screen head section continuously clean the panels during the cleaning cycle, discharging debris at deck level. The patented tapered hole, thick polymer mesh panels actively discourage hair pinning and do not require brush cleaners.
For special applications, the flow can be reversed, ensuring effective and efficient screening.
