JACKBOLT DRIVE: THE OPERATOR’S BEST FRIEND

HOW IT WORKS

The Jackbolt Drive is assembled within a cast-iron housing and can be fully rebuilt from the top of the access platform. During drive maintenance, the Jackbolt transfers the weight of the bridge and the clarifier mechanism to the center pier. No need to drain the clarifier tank, remove the walkway bridge/drive platform, or disconnect the clarifier from the drive mechanism.

The complete assembly can be replaced in less than an eight-hour shift using a simple engine hoist or portable gantry crane.
