HOW IT WORKS

The standard Ovivo clarifier features a central-feed design, where a central influent column supports the drive unit. This unit powers the center drive cage and rake arms. In the diagonal bladed collection system, the underflow is removed from a discharge pit near the bottom center of the tank.

With each pass of the rake arm, the diagonal rake blades move settled solids inward toward the center of the tank, which is fitted with adjustable stainless-steel squeegees for close tolerance scraping. The diagonal rake blades can handle heavy applications with diameters up to 250 feet (76.2 m).
