Varec Biogas™ Products
GET A HANDLE ON SAFELY CAPTURING BIOGAS
The Ovivo line of Varec Biogas™ products represents the most complete system in the world for biogas capture, handling, transmission, and safety.
These innovative technologies have been installed at landfills, breweries, dairies, and food processing plants—anywhere anaerobic digestion is used for solid waste treatment.
Biogas is a renewable energy source. When recovered, it can be used in innumerable ways, such as running a boiler for heating an anaerobic digester or running an engine-generator to produce electricity.
THE PROBLEM
Biogas produced from anaerobic digestion is typically wet and dirty and contains corrosive elements such as hydrogen sulfide (H2S) that can damage piping and equipment. The gas is flammable and poses a safety hazard if not handled properly.
THE OVIVO SOLUTION
Varec Biogas products represent decades of innovation in safe biogas collection and handling anywhere anaerobic digestion is used for solid waste treatment. In fact, our engineers pioneered flame-front technology for pilot ignition systems. And we have developed streamlined solutions to minimize labor and footprint.
From custom design and manufacturing to testing and delivery, our engineers are ready to help create cost-effective, streamlined, and safe biogas system solutions for you.
