Ovivo offers extensive field services for Varec Biogas™ products through site surveys, training, installation oversight, and follow-up maintenance. Biogas produced from anaerobic digestion is flammable. Our team is committed to eliminating safety hazards.
THE PROBLEM
Biogas generated through anaerobic digestion is generally moist and contaminated, including corrosive components like hydrogen sulfide (H2S). This gas is highly flammable and presents a safety risk if not managed correctly. The presence of corrosive elements requires regular maintenance of safety equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
THE OVIVO SOLUTION
Varec Biogas expert field service engineers are available during the commissioning and start-up of gas safety equipment, as well as to assist with performing critical preventative maintenance. Such maintenance is important to ensure the proper operation of the equipment. The team can also provide refresher courses on the correct operation and maintenance of the equipment, including the flare.

1. SITE SURVEYS
Field service engineers will survey your existing biogas system, troubleshoot causes for existing operational problems, recommend solutions to address those problems, and design a permanent fix.
2. START-UP SERVICES
You can rely on our field service experts to inspect proper installation of Varec Biogas equipment via a comprehensive inspection checklist. These inspections are vital to operator safety.
3. TRAINING
Your team will receive on-site training of Varec Biogas equipment from our expert field service engineers. You’ll get hands-on experience and a complete information kit as a resource. At the conclusion of training, operators will know how to efficiently install, calibrate, and repair Varec Biogas products—minimizing downtime!
