HOW IT WORKS

The Suction Header Clarifier features a suction duct header coupled to a rotating sludge collection manifold. The manifold, attached to the bottom end of the center cage, is sealed around the center column and tank floor.

Negative pressure pulls sludge through the suction header, manifold, and sludge discharge pipe. The tapered rectangular cross section of the header, with orifices spaced along its length, ensures proportional sludge withdrawal relative to the tank area served.
